What’s in My Bag: 3 charm products I Don’t Leave home Without

For numerous of us, COVID changed how we live our day-to-day lives. Personally, my life is the same in numerous ways but vastly different in so numerous as well. one of the things that changed the most was my charm routine. A lover of minimal makeup looks, I, like so numerous others, found myself stripping down my already bare makeup routine even more. and as the world has begun to open back up, I’ve discovered that numerous of the changes I’ve made remain permanent. However, one thing that hasn’t changed is the three must-haves that are a constant in my rotation (and in my handbag).

One thing about living in new York City is that spontaneous plans happen very often. I can’t tell you how numerous times I’ve left the house in a casual outfit for Saturday morning errands only to end up meeting a friend for a coffee date that turns into a swing by their friend’s art gallery that ends with a group dinner and copious amounts of natural wine. That being said, I always make sure to have a tube of mascara, lipgloss, and a small perfume in my bag if I need to freshen up on the go. recently I’ve swapped the brands of my go-to’s, and below are the 3 products I love best now.

Radical volume effect synthetic Cils Mascara

I’m a Dior Diorshow renowned Mascara girl through and through, but I find that it doesn’t layer very well overtop dry mascara. HOWEVER, this YSL tube adds extra volume and freshens up mascara you’ve already been wearing, and I love having this with me on the go.

Tom Ford private blend Oud wood Eau de Parfum

This scent is a game-changer, truly. I recently discovered this earthy perfume, and it is the ideal fall scent. It’s woody and smoky, with hints of spice and a sensual amber undertone. It feels comfortable and strong, but it’s not overpowering. This small is the ideal size to keep in your bag, and I like that it’s not a rollerball (which in some cases makes it hard to keep track of how much you’re applying).

Dior Addict Lip Maximizer Plumping Lip Gloss

It practically goes without saying, but having lipgloss in your purse is a must, especially if you’re like me and your makeup routine is on the minimal side. I recently tried Dior’s lip-plumping gloss, and I have to say that I understand the hype. It offers a good shine without feeling overly sticky and does plump your lips as much as a non-surgical product can. I choose the beige sunrise/glow color, which is a natural, muted pinky-nude.
