A new picture of Prince George for his fifth birthday

As hoped, Kensington Palace released a new photo of Prince George to commemorate his fifth birthday.

The Tweet accompanying the photo.

George as well as his household will be celebrating on the island of Mustique, where they are vacationing. a lot more from Rebecca English in this everyday Mail story:

The household left London on Monday as well as have been joined by grandparents Carole as well as Michael Middleton, as well as aunt Pippa as well as her hubby James Matthews, so it will be rather a party.

The picture was shot by Matt Porteous, who likewise photographed Prince Louis’s christening for the family’s personal picture album.

Here is a quick refresher on official photos for George as he has grown up. Pictures for his very first birthday were taken at the natural history Museum. The Duchess wore the Suzannah Budding Heart Tea gown in those images.

For his second birthday, a Mario Testino picture from Princess Charlotte’s christening was released.

A series of photos taken at Anmer Hall by Matt Porteous was released for the Prince’s third birthday. (More in this post.)

We saw a a lot more formal picture portrait when George turned four, taken by Chris Jackson of Getty Images, who has shot a number of official Cambridge photos.

And now we have the latest in the series, it is a wonderful photo of the Prince.
